St Georges by the Sea is a unique Taranaki wedding venue and events destination, offering an unforgettable coastal setting that blends rural luxury with the drama of the West Coast.

Our breathtaking sea views and diverse on-site locations create a striking backdrop for weddings, celebrations and intimate events. Guests can enjoy an array of photographic settings in one place, from established gardens and the luxury villa interiors to the dramatic black sand beach below and the rolling green pastures of our rural landscape. St Georges by the Sea offers dramatic, luxurious and effortless photography options without the need to travel.

We welcome weddings and events on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us by email with your requirements and we will prepare a tailored quote, with on-site accommodation available in the Main Villa, the Guest House or both.

For larger groups, we can guide you through additional accommodation options nearby, with excellent overflow available in Oakura and New Plymouth. You can even arrive in style by landing a helicopter on our lawn.

Please note that St Georges by the Sea is a dry hire Taranaki events venue. All elements must be brought in, and you may choose an outdoor celebration or arrange for a marquee.
